SCHOLARSHIP
The Association sponsors meritorious past students of the Doveton Schools, who are economically disadvantaged, to pursue under-graduate studies in their pursuit of livelihood skills.

Applications are invited for scholarships from the alumni of Doveton Schools who are economically challenged.The Scheme is for ‘post school education’. Salient aspects of the Scheme are enumerated below:-

Eligible Persons
1.
The under-mentioned persons are eligible for the scholarship:-
1.1
Should be an alumnus of Doveton School, having completed her / his 12th standard examination (any curriculum) at any of the Doveton Group of Schools
1.2
Must be below the age of 25 years as on 1st July of the current year.
Note:-A student is eligible for one scholarship only.
Number of Beneficiaries & Amount
1.
Every year, 3 scholarships are awarded. The scholarship amount is Rs. 20,000/- each.
Eligibility Criteria (In the Given Order of Priority)
2.
A physically challenged applicant.
3.
The child (Dovetonian) of a widow who is economically disadvantaged (Pay –less than ₹ 30,000/- a month).
4.
Economically disadvantaged parents of the applicant (Combined Pay - less than ₹ 30,000/- a month).
5.
Highest marks in the qualifying exam. If there are two candidates who fulfil all the conditions, the applicant securing higher marks will get a priority over the other.
6.
Only one child per family per year is permitted to apply / will be considered.
7.
The scholarship is for the entire course, provided the performance is satisfactory. The mark list must be submitted for the subsequent years.
8.
If all other aspects are equal between two candidates, the number of years studied in the School will be the determining factor.

Application Forms duly completed in all respects along with the requisite documents must be submitted to the Honorary Secretary.
11.
Applications for Scholarships are accepted usually in the month of June every year.
Standard Operating Procedure
12.
The Management Committee will be guided by the SOP enumerated in the Standing Orders, which will be followed strictly.
Contributions
13.
Contributions to this specific fund are most Welcome. The names of the donors will be mentioned through an e-mail at the end of the financial year, the Annual Report and announced at the Annual General Meeting. Payment details:-
